Course Orientation

The Critical Choices program consists of two components: a Learning Center and a Resource Center.

The Learning Center is an online course. It combines the advantages of anytime-anywhere learning with personal contact. As students progress through the course, they are encouraged to seek support from their classmates and facilitator.

As students work through the Learning Center , they will encounter a variety of activities. Some present information, others require students to actively work with or reflect on information. Once students master how to do a specific type of activity, it works the same throughout the course.

The Resource Center provides a directory of online resources. Students can use this to search for jobs, childcare or health and meal planning information.
